While Lil Yachty and Veeze share no connection to the same state, their musical styles complement each other seamlessly. They share many similarities, from their tendency to deliver lyrics in a flat tone to their unconventional production decisions. It has been established for the past couple of years. Their contributions on Kodak Black’s “Sh*t Show” and “Boat Interlude” are limited to just a few tracks. They appear to be prepared to see what they can accomplish on a full project as a team now.
Veeze inadvertently revealed some information about his track, “Can’t Be Crete Boy,” on his Instagram by hyping it up. He wrote “πΏ out to win,” tagging Lil Yachty and Lyrical Lemonade in a post. The person responsible for the music video’s creation is the latter. In our view, this is one of their more impressive collaborations, which is largely due to the multi-phased beat. The track “Can’t Be Crete Boy” kicks off with a captivating chipmunk soul sample chop, resulting in a genuine Southern atmosphere. The tempo suddenly shifts to a more ominous and foreboding tone approximately halfway through. This track combines each rapper’s unique sonic styles, reminiscent of Detroit’s influential hip-hop catalog. The untitled tape’s second single is likely this, with “Sorry Not Sorry” serving as the first.
