LUCKI – Free Mr. Banks

LUCKI Free Mr. Banks

LUCKI is rapidly discovering that his life on “Free Mr. Banks” is fraught with danger. The track, produced with intensity by Brent Rambo and Marko Lenz, incorporates intense synthesizer passages and driving kicks that evoke the sense of physical blows the Chicago-born artist is experiencing on the song. He’s discussing being part of a gang, but he’s struggling to break free from its influence possibly due to intimidation. Sticking with it might even reward him with high-end products like Ferrari trucks and luxury items. It has LUCKI involving his loved ones in the situation. Feeling extremely intoxicated, this isn’t the first time, it’s exactly what they are looking for from me / I am currently under obligation, in the M-O-B, I brought my son along with me.

He’s got a large number of snakes in his yard. In certain societies, these things are often seen as representing temptation and deceit. Referring to the slithering reptiles, LUCKI devotes the two-minute cut to giving Young Thug a shout-out. He says, “Early snakes take out the rats, FJG, haha / Ayy, ayy, uh (Slatt, slatt, slatt, slatt, slatt].” The acronym “FJG” stands for “Free Jeff Gang.” He was convinced that there were numerous snakes attempting to confine him, a scenario mirroring his current predicament on the track. This could be the third single from his upcoming album, DR*GS R BAD.
