DJ Akademiks Disses Lil Baby, 'Atlanta Rat Rappers' Young Thug

DJ Akademiks criticized Lil Baby and other “Atlanta rat rappers.”

Following a resurgence of tension between Ak and Baby on June 8, which was ignited by a leaked music video clip where the Atlanta rapper refers to the streamer as the feds, Ak intensified his criticism of Baby and pointed out other Atlanta artists on social media, including Gucci Mane, Young Thug, and Gunna.

“Lil Baby and the Atlanta rat rappers aren’t getting away,” he posted on X. “I will ensure that. Detective Gucci, Lieutenant Young Thug, and Sergeant Lil Baby. We’re coming for you now… Before I let someone like Lil Baby, who associates with rats, ever call me the feds, I would quit hip hop. You will label your fellow Atlanta rappers as rats before you address me, Ak, if it’s the last thing you do. Young Thug, Gunna, Gucci. You all need a group name.”

Ak then shared a group photo of Gucci Mane, Young Thug, and Lil Baby. In the image, Thug is holding a piece of cheese while Gucci holds a gun labeled “Rat Poison.”

“Better than the Ninja Turtles,” Ak captioned the photograph. “If it’s not 21 Savage or Future, we’re not supporting them. All rats. Worst city.”

Ak’s remarks follow a leaked video showing Baby filming a music video on a street in France. In the clip, Baby raps, “F**k Akademiks, that ni**a the feds.”
