Hazel-E Responds To Mariah The Scientist’s Unprompted Comment About Her Young Thug Video

Mariah the Scientist is protective of her fiancé. Recently, the singer of “Burning Blue” responded to Hazel-E for commenting with fire emojis under a video of Young Thug. Mariah questioned, “Which part is fire?” to which Hazel-E replied, “The aesthetic.” She later added that the photographer had also filmed her. Hazel-E remarked, “Lil girls be showing they insecurities… Girl, don’t nobody want this man but her.”

On her Instagram Stories, Hazel-E addressed Mariah again, stating, “I promise no one wants Thug but you, baby.” She also wrote, “Be worried about planning your lavender wedding. Coming for me unprovoked is [nuts],” and humorously suggested, “I fear the [fire] emoji now means DTF.”

Mariah typically does not engage in social media discussions, particularly about relationships. However, Thug recently proposed to her at his “Hometown Hero: Young Thug & Friends” benefit concert, held at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, where he asked, “What [do] you say, baby?” with “Will You Marry Me?” displayed on a screen behind them. Mariah enthusiastically responded, “Put it on!” and then shared with the audience, “[I] guess I’m getting married.” After the concert, the couple, who began dating in 2021, showcased her engagement ring backstage.

In addition to her relationship news, Mariah is set to kick off her “HEARTS SOLD SEPARATELY TOUR” on January 12. The European leg will begin with a performance in Paris, followed by shows in Manchester and London. Shortly before Valentine’s Day, she will then tour across North America. This tour aims to promote her fourth studio album, which ranked No. 6 on Rap-Up’s list of the best R&B albums of 2025.
