Yemi Alade – Freedom

Nigerian music artist Yemi Alade offers a message of empowerment and self-confidence with her latest release, “Freedom.” Launched on August 11, 2026, the song serves as the official theme for the Nollywood musical family drama “Sweet 16.”

The track emphasizes the importance of carving one’s own path and resisting outside control. Yemi Alade expresses themes of liberation from societal pressures, inner peace, and the bravery to pursue personal authenticity.
