T.I. Criticizes 50 Cent In “What Bully,” Prompting A Strong Reaction

T.I. continues his lyrical critiques of 50 Cent, with the latter responding more directly this time.

On February 25, T.I. released a new diss track titled “What Bully,” following earlier tracks like “The Right One” and “War.”

The song’s artwork features a well-known weight-loss photo of 50 from the film Things Fall Apart, and T.I. calls out 50 for being a bully and allegedly collaborating with law enforcement against his rivals.

In the hook, he raps about 50’s behavior, suggesting that he intimidates those who do not pose a threat while being unwilling to confront actual challenges.

T.I. emphasizes that he is not someone who is easily bought, referencing 50’s claim about a shopping offer made by another artist, before suggesting the possibility of real-world violence.

His accompanying message for 50 states that he focuses on music rather than memes and warns that continued online commentary could lead to problems.

Despite T.I.’s efforts to engage 50 in a rap rivalry, 50’s response on Instagram includes a mock “Stupid-Ass N*gga Award” certificate, implying that he finds T.I.’s attempts to battle outdated.

Tension between the two has escalated recently, particularly as T.I. expressed willingness to pursue a Verzuz battle with 50 Cent.

50 dismissed the idea, labeling T.I. as “King Rat” and advising him to not mention his name again.

In response, T.I. indicated a loss of respect for 50 and suggested he no longer wishes to share a stage with him.

Their exchanges turned personal, with 50 sharing an unflattering image of T.I.’s wife on social media, while T.I. referenced 50’s deceased mother in his diss track “The Right One.”
