Smokepurpp – 7am in Broward

Smokepurpp is aiming to continue his notable series of projects and has recently released what could be the lead single for his upcoming work. The track is called “7am in Broward,” which may reference Drake’s well-known timestamp series. Despite his previous success, the Florida native approaches his rapping as if he still has something to prove. He delivers a strong performance over the signature production style he is recognized for. This song serves as a promotion for Deadstar 3. The first installment, released in 2017, played a significant role in establishing his career, featuring key tracks like “Fingers Blue” with Travis Scott, “OK” with Lil Pump, and “Audi.” There is hope that he can recreate some of that success with the forthcoming tape. His last LP was Florida Jit, released in 2020.
