Lackvill & Smokepurpp – Ashes

Lackvill is developing his abilities as a rapper and producer, emerging in the 2020s as a notable figure from Michigan. His recent track “Ashes” featuring Smokepurpp not only opens more opportunities in the industry but also emphasizes the straightforward and repetitive nature of his style. The brief verses and choruses from both artists are set against a backdrop of classic trap percussion and complementing synths. At just under a minute and a half, the track remains concise and engaging. Despite its short length, it captures the energetic and relaxed confidence that characterizes Lackvill’s music, with Smokepurpp serving as an appropriate collaborator. Future releases will be worth watching.
