Recently, Kendrick Lamar caught fans off guard by unexpectedly bringing out Playboi Carti as a special guest during his “Grand National Tour.” On Tuesday (October 14) night, the “HBA” rapper reciprocated the gesture by inviting the Compton emcee on stage at the Los Angeles stop of his own “Antagonist 2.0 Tour.”

At Crypto.com Arena, Lamar joined Carti for a live performance of “GOOD CREDIT,” one of the three collaborations they have on the Atlanta artist’s latest album, MUSIC. “He wrote on Instagram that having Kendrick Lamar with us in LA is only right, accompanying footage from the sold-out show.”

“Eliantte goes big, a white gold chain falls on the belly / The emerald cuff is for him and her, that’s on point like A$AP Relli,” Lamar rapped as Carti and DJ Swamp Izzo hyped him up. “The numbers mean nothing, the money means nothing, I really know him, I promise / Say Kenny has been heavily involved out West and I’m carrying the weight, man, I’m Luka Dončić.” View the following moment.

Carti made a surprise appearance as the first guest on Lamar’s “Grand National Tour” in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, where they also performed “GOOD CREDIT.” Notably, in all their collaborations on MUSIC, this is the only track where the pgLang founder contributes more than riffs and ad-libs.

“GOOD CREDIT” entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart at number 17, with their other two songs, “BACKD00R” and “MOJO JOJO”, premiering at numbers 25 and 27, respectively. A$AP Rocky also performed at the Tuesday night show, taking the stage for “Long Time (Intro)” from his 2018 album Die Lit.

The “Antagonist 2.0 Tour” is scheduled to visit the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, Arizona next. From there, Carti and the rest of his Opium Records roster will tour through cities such as Las Vegas, Chicago, Brooklyn, and Charlotte, to name a few.
