Nicki Minaj Files Lawsuit Against Nigerian Influencer

Trinidadian rapper Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, known as Nicki Minaj, has initiated legal proceedings against Nigerian influencer Dr Penking, alleging harassment and copyright infringement.

The dispute arose after Dr Penking posted an old video of Minaj on X, where he commented on her age and recommended that she retire from the music and entertainment industry.

“Nicki Minaj should understand that she has gotten old and retire,”

he stated.

Minaj, displeased with the post, announced her intention to file a lawsuit against the influencer, claiming he used her video to harass her.

“Do you have permission to use this video that I filmed years ago to harass me on this or any platform? You’ve just been added to the suit,”

she stated.
