Maino Criticizes 50 Cent In Biggie-Inspired Track ‘Bleed Like Us’: Listen

50 Cent is facing a new conflict with Maino, who has responded to their ongoing feud with a diss track. On March 11, Maino released a song titled “Bleed Like Us,” responding to 50 Cent’s recent track “No More Tricks, No More Tries,” featuring Max B.

Maino draws inspiration from the classic Biggie song “N*ggas Bleed,” using it to address 50 Cent’s previous domestic violence allegations and questioning the authenticity of his claim about being shot nine times. He further suggests that 50 cooperates with law enforcement against his rivals.

In the track, Maino raps, “Be careful when you come at me, n*gga, you couldn’t humble me / Why the ones you beef with end up in fed custody? / 50 ways to catch a killer, is that your energy? / Only Black men, no white men, is your enemy?” He also incorporates references to some of 50 Cent’s notable songs as part of his critique.

He delivers lines such as, “Only white kids in the ‘burbs thought you was gangsta / We messed with you ’cause of your story, thought you was like us / Just to find out this whole time you was the wanksta,” concluding the song with a striking question: “Getting rich wasn’t enough, still want to die?”

Fans initially interpreted “No More Tricks, No More Tries” as a diss aimed at T.I., considering the recent exchange of insults between 50 Cent and the Atlanta rapper. However, in the song’s video, 50 clarifies that he is directing his remarks toward Maino, Jim Jones, and Fabolous, who co-host the Let’s Rap About It podcast with Dave East.

The video includes shots of the three rappers while 50 states, “Fuck you!” and makes a pointed reference to Maino’s facial scar by recreating the incident that caused it. In an Instagram post, 50 noted, “Yall thought I was talking about the Cosby’s,” suggesting that he will address T.I. later.

Tension between 50 Cent and Jim Jones, Maino, and Fabolous flared up late last year after a critique of 50’s Diddy documentary on their podcast. In defense of Diddy, Jones stated that no one should create a documentary that misrepresents their character.

Following a series of Instagram posts, 50 directed comments at the trio, alleging they owed rent for their podcast recording space. He claimed, “These guys are squatters, they owe 250,000k for the space they are filming their podcast.”

50 Cent has also claimed to have purchased the building and has threatened to terminate Jim Jones’ tenancy after sharing video footage of him attempting to break in.
