Diddy’s Time Behind Bars Shortened Again, New Release Set

Diddy’s release date has been adjusted once more, marking the second time his prison sentence has been shortened.

On Tuesday, June 16, Naijahomeland reported that the rapper will now be released from New Jersey’s FCI Fort Dix on February 23, 2028. Initially sentenced to 50 months in federal prison after being found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution last July, Diddy’s original release date was set for June 4, 2028. In March, however, 40 days were removed from his sentence, moving his release date to April 25, 2028.

While no specific reason was provided for the latest change, the Federal Bureau of Prisons noted that there are various factors that can lead to a sentence being shortened. Factors may include “good conduct time, time credits from approved programs and activities, and credit for time served before sentencing.”

Despite this development, Diddy is still facing numerous civil lawsuits related to allegations of sexual misconduct, including one filed recently. On June 9, a former child actor submitted an anonymous lawsuit against him, claiming that Diddy performed oral sex on him when he was a minor.

The individual, referred to as John Doe, alleges that he met Diddy at a Hollywood networking event in 2007, after which Diddy invited him to have a private conversation. Doe claims that during this encounter, Diddy began to touch him inappropriately before engaging in oral sex. Diddy’s team has denied these allegations.
