Davido Submits ‘ORIADÉ,’ ‘B4 B4,’ And Additional Works For The 2027 Grammy Awards

Davido has submitted his latest album, ORIADÉ, along with several songs for consideration at the 2027 Grammy Awards, including entries in major album and song categories, as well as African music and music videos.

The submissions, reported by the Grammy-focused account The Grammy Guru, encompass categories such as Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year, in addition to Best Global Music Album, Best African Music Performance, and Best Music Video.

The album ORIADÉ has been submitted in four categories: Album of the Year, Best Global Music Album, Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical, and Best Album Cover. These submissions reflect both the music of the album and its technical and visual presentation.

Among the entries is the collaboration “B4 B4” with Mayorkun and FOLA, which has been submitted for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best African Music Performance, highlighting its recognition across multiple categories.

Another submitted work is “Nakupenda,” featuring TxC, Zlatan, Shoday, Scotts Maphuma, and Al Xapo. This collaboration has been put forward for Song of the Year and Best African Music Performance, showcasing artists from various regions of the African music scene.

Additionally, “Le Show,” featuring Ayra Starr and French Montana, has been submitted for Best African Music Performance. The music video for “I Know Who I Be,” featuring JAZZWRLD and GL_Ceejay, has been entered in the Best Music Video category.

It is important to note that while these submissions highlight Davido’s work in various areas of Grammy consideration, submitting a song or album does not ensure a nomination, as the Recording Academy’s voting process ultimately determines which works advance to the final list.

Currently, these reported submissions place Davido among the Nigerian artists whose work is being considered for the 2027 Grammy Awards, which are scheduled for February 7, 2027.
