Blaqbonez Has Filed A Defamation Lawsuit For ₦2 Billion Against Odumodublvck

Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has initiated legal proceedings against fellow rapper Odumodublvck, seeking ₦2 billion in damages based on allegations of defamation, harassment, threats, and harm to his reputation.

The lawsuit, filed through Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors, is documented in a legal memorandum dated July 7, 2026.

The filing accuses Odumodublvck, whose real name is Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, of engaging in a prolonged campaign of online publications and behaviors that purportedly harmed Blaqbonez’s reputation, business interests, and public image.

The legal memorandum includes the statement:

“Our Client has suffered and continues to suffer significant loss and damage as a direct consequence of your unlawful conduct.”

Blaqbonez’s legal team claims that Odumodublvck has repeatedly made or enhanced statements labeling the rapper as a “sexual abuser” and “sexual abusing bastard.” The filing asserts that these statements are false, malicious, and defamatory, resulting in serious damage to the artist’s reputation.

As part of the suit, Blaqbonez requests the court to declare the statements defamatory and grant various forms of relief, including a permanent injunction that would prevent Odumodublvck from making or promoting any further defamatory statements or threats.

The claimant is also asking for an order mandating the removal of the alleged defamatory posts from all of Odumodublvck’s social media accounts, along with a public retraction and apology to be issued on his verified platforms and displayed for at least 30 consecutive days.

Additionally, the lawsuit seeks a public notice instructing Odumodublvck’s supporters to stop harassing or intimidating Blaqbonez.

In total, Blaqbonez is seeking ₦2 billion as general damages for the purported injury to his reputation, goodwill, and commercial standing, along with an extra ₦500 million in aggravated damages, asserting that the alleged publications were repeated and malicious.

The suit also demands ₦50 million to address legal expenses, along with any other relief the court deems appropriate.

The court documents further outline allegations of harassment, assault, battery, unlawful interference, and threats to Blaqbonez’s safety; however, these claims have yet to be examined by the court.

As of the time of publication, Odumodublvck had not publicly addressed the lawsuit. The allegations presented in the court filings reflect Blaqbonez’s claims, and the case is currently pending in court.
