EP: Ifani – Msebenzi Wam

South African rapper iFani returns with Msebenzi Wam, an eight-track EP released on July 31, 2026, via Asanda Empires and Disguiz, with distribution by Content Connect Africa (CCA). This marks his first significant project after a prolonged break, showcasing a more introspective and mature side of the artist as he reflects on his personal journey, resilience, and artistic growth.

The title Msebenzi Wam, which translates to “My Work” in isiXhosa, delves into themes of self-discovery, perseverance, cultural identity, and overcoming challenges. Departing from the playful style that characterized his earlier work, iFani adopts a deeper and more thoughtful sound, featuring honest lyricism set against polished hip-hop production.

The EP includes collaborations with Csana, Snymaan, Vuyo Manyike, and Vee Sholo, contributing diverse perspectives to the project.
