Cassie Reveals She No Longer Lives In U.S. After Diddy Trial

A year after Sean “Diddy” Combs’ notable trial concerning sexual crimes, Cassie has disclosed in court documents that she no longer resides in the United States.

Documents obtained by Naijahomeland indicate that Cassie Ventura has left the country and has no plans to return. The former R&B singer submitted an official declaration on May 1 as part of her response to a lawsuit filed against her by male sex worker Clayton Howard. In this declaration, she states that while she is a U.S. citizen, she does not reside in California and currently lives outside the United States with no intention of returning.

Cassie notes in the document that if Howard’s legal case proceeds, it would be more convenient for her to testify in New York City rather than California, as that is where her legal representation is located. It is not specified where Cassie is currently residing or when she departed from the U.S.

Her court filing follows her testimony in Diddy’s racketeering and sex trafficking case, where she confirmed receiving a $20 million settlement from him to resolve her lawsuit. During her testimony, she described the physical, sexual, and emotional abuse she experienced during her 10-year relationship with Diddy.

In July 2025, Diddy was found guilty on two counts of transportation for purposes of prostitution and was acquitted of charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering. He received a 50-month prison sentence in October 2025 and is scheduled for release on April 25, 2028.

In the current legal matter, Clayton Howard, one of the male sex workers engaged by Diddy and Cassie for their “freak-off” sessions, filed a lawsuit against both parties on July 3, 2025. Howard claims that Cassie transmitted a sexually transmitted disease to him and allegedly terminated a pregnancy resulting from their sexual encounter without his consent. He further alleges that Cassie coerced him into consuming ecstasy and engaged in unprotected sexual acts for extended periods, leading to physical and psychological harm.

Howard is seeking monetary compensation for alleged lost wages and benefits, medical expenses, physical pain, psychological trauma, and a reduced quality of life.
