Young Stunna – Balinde

Young Stunna has released the first song from his upcoming sophomore album, titled “Balinde.”

He has demonstrated that maintaining relevance in the competitive music industry does not necessarily require frequent album releases. Instead, focusing on improving one’s craft and staying attuned to current trends can be effective. An artist can still release tracks without launching albums for years; however, an extended absence from the release of new music may lead to a decline in visibility.

Understanding this, Young Stunna continued to produce successful tracks and collaborate with other artists while working on his Busisiwe album. Although none of these new singles have matched the acclaim of his hit “Adiwele” with Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa, they have maintained his presence on playlists and kept his name recognized among Amapiano fans.

As he prepares to release his second studio album, Busisiwe, on October 21, the singer has introduced “Balinde.” This track diverges from what might be expected, showcasing strong influences from Hip-Hop and trap rather than Amapiano. Young Stunna began his career in rap before transitioning to Amapiano to enhance his brand, suggesting that he is now revisiting his musical origins.
