Yeat will be eternally thankful to Drake. The “Talk” rapper discussed how his relationship and subsequent collaborations transformed everything for him in an interview with Complex on October 22, Wednesday.

“He said that taking the photo that went viral in 2021 had a significant impact, proving that it wasn’t just a small underground phenomenon anymore.” I was receiving recognition from one of the largest artists globally, if not the largest. It altered the situation for everyone – both my supporters and those on the outside.”

Four years on, the artists possess an abundance of songs. They initially released “IDGAF” in 2023’s For All The Dogs, and then came out with “As We Speak” the following year. The California native also joined Drake during the Toronto native’s third Iceman livestream for his upcoming solo album last month, where they previewed and later released the Julia Wolf-assisted “DOG HOUSE.”

Following that massive collaboration, Yeat pointed out that Drake is “really good at making really good music.” “He stated that he has unlimited hits.” He can simply remain seated and repeat the task repeatedly. It’s understandable why he’s in the position he is, given his presence. It’s wonderful to see this.

Drake’s musical ability is hardly a shock to anyone. The Canadian rapper has already achieved over a dozen No. 1s on the Billboard Hot 100 and more than 360 entries on the chart in total. As a result, Yeat has picked up a thing or two from the Canadian star, such as how to “operate at a higher level” and “take things to the next level.”

Yeat stated that he initially didn’t believe there was a limit to his eventual size due to his creativity and willingness to push boundaries, but witnessing it firsthand and being around The Boy, he gained valuable insight. That’s my brother. It was beneficial to witness the inner workings at that level and at such a high capacity.

According to former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel, Drake’s Iceman is expected to be released in 2025, and Yeat is preparing to release another album. It has been confirmed that a project called A DANGEROUS LYFE is currently in development.
