Ye is set to have a custom-built stadium with a capacity of 60,000 for his concert in Albania this summer.

Despite facing opposition in some European countries regarding his performances, Albania is welcoming the rapper with a concert scheduled for July 11 in Tirana. Ye will perform at Air Albania Stadium, which normally accommodates 22,500 spectators. For this event, the venue will be expanded with a temporary stadium designed to hold up to 60,000, according to the promoter.

The design will incorporate a large half-globe structure that Ye previously used during his comeback concerts in Los Angeles earlier this month.

The Prime Minister’s Office in Albania stated to local news outlet BIRN that the decision to host Ye’s concert is economically motivated.

“In every aspect, it is our obligation to welcome and facilitate the development of such events that bring numerous benefits to tourism and the economy,” the ministry mentioned, emphasizing that the concert “will have an extraordinary impact on the promotion of tourism and the local economy.”

Ye has faced challenges in securing performances across Europe due to his prior anti-Semitic remarks. The Wireless Festival 2026 was canceled after the UK government barred him from entry. He has also had proposed shows in Poland and Switzerland canceled and postponed a performance in France that was slated for June.
