Xzibit For The Love ft. Ice Cube Lorine

Xzibit and Ice Cube, two well-known figures from the 1990s, are reuniting on the song “For The Love,” which also includes the soulful vocals of Lorine Chia. The track is part of the Detroit rapper’s upcoming album, Kingmaker, marking the fifth release from it. The release is scheduled for May 16 through Greenback Records, the fledgling label of Conor McGregor.

Xzibit has been on a lengthy hiatus, with his last solo album being released in 2012’s Napalm. He’s feeling inspired again, and this new record deal is a major factor in that. Conor is thanked for his efforts. The singles released before “For The Love” include “Play This At My Funeral,” “Everywhere I Go,” and “Been A Long Time Pt.2.”

The mixtape also includes “Shut Yo Mouth” with Compton Av and Butch Cassidy, and in terms of features, there are going to be a lot. X is set to collaborate with a lineup that includes Dr. Dre, Ty Dolla $ign, Jason Martin, Royce Da 5’9″, Redman, and several other artists. The album “For The Love” is now the focus.

The track features a raw, single with minimal beats that incorporates the famous piano melody from Mobb Deep’s “Quiet Storm.” X, Cube, and Chia deliver emotive performances that focus on themes of love, success, and family.

The Kingmaker visionary stated that the purpose of this album is to provide support for other artists to advance their careers in any way he can. His motivation to serve as a role model for younger rappers stems from the kindness he was shown throughout his profession. Many individuals have performed that task on my behalf.
