Wizkid Has Announced Concerts Scheduled For December 2026 In Abuja And Lagos

Wizkid is scheduled to return to the Nigerian concert scene in December, with two performances in Abuja and Lagos during the annual Detty December festivities.

The Afrobeats artist will headline the Live Out Loud Music Festival in Abuja on December 13, followed by a performance on the opening night of Detty December Fest in Lagos on December 18. These dates represent his first announced headline performances in Nigeria for 2026.

His concert in Abuja is set for Sunday, December 13, at Eagle Square, with the festival anticipated to run from 5 p.m. to 11:55 p.m. Gate opening is planned for 4 p.m., and tickets and reservations can be made through the Tix Africa ticketing platform.

Five days later, Wizkid will perform in Lagos for the opening night of Detty December Fest on Friday, December 18. The event is scheduled to take place at the Detty Festival Stage; however, information regarding his performance time and ticketing details is still pending.

These two engagements position the Grammy-winning artist among the prominent acts participating in Nigeria’s busy end-of-year entertainment calendar. December concerts have grown to be a significant attraction for music fans in Nigeria and those in the diaspora who return for the holidays.

With performances planned in both Abuja and Lagos, Wizkid’s appearances provide fans in these cities the chance to see him perform during the festive season. Additional details about the Lagos show are anticipated from the organizers as the event approaches.
