Will Smith has now participated in Doechii’s “Anxiety” challenge. He unexpectedly delighted fans on Thursday (March 13) with his personal interpretation of the popular TikTok fad, featuring none other than the Swamp Princess herself.

In the mirror, Smith could be seen bobbing his head to the tune of the song, with the lyrics “Somebody’s watchin’ me/ It’s my anxiety, yeah” echoing through the air. As he turned to face the camera, his image remained unchanged, while the person he was in real life was substituted by Doechii.

Smith captioned the joint post, stating, “Somebody’s watching me” and gave credit to influencer Brooke Monk for beginning the trend. He might initially appear to be a surprising choice, but with the numerous “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” edits incorporating “Anxiety”, it was only a matter of time.

The actor noted on Friday, March 7, that every video has surpassed the previous one in quality, referencing a past clip featuring him and Tatyana Ali as Ashley Banks dancing on the show. He also mentioned, “I really like that song, [Doechii].”

There Have Been Rumors About Will Smith And Doechii Collaborating On A New Musical Project Together

The more immediate query is whether fans can anticipate music from the duo, particularly with Smith resurfacing in his rap abilities lately. In February, he released “BEAUTIFUL SCARS” in collaboration with Big Sean, accompanied by a visual companion inspired by the Matrix. Prior to this, he collaborated with Joyner Lucas on “TANTRUM” and premiered the “WORK OF ART,” which featured Russ and Jaden.

Doechii, who recently achieved the distinction of being a Grammy Award winner, has had an impressive run of featured appearances over the past year. Apart from the more recent “ExtraL” by BLACKPINK’s JENNIE, the TDE signee contributed her talents to tracks such as BANKS’ “I Hate Your Ex-Girlfriend,” Katy Perry’s “I’M HIS, HE’S MINE” and Tyler, The Creator’s “Balloon” during the course of 2024.

It would be truly remarkable if the two heavyweights collaborated, perhaps on Smith’s upcoming project, Doechii’s highly anticipated debut album, or even a standalone single.
