According to a Newsweek report published on Friday, January 31, two women have claimed that several executives and staff members of TDE have been involved in instances of sexual harassment, assault, and contract breaches against them. The lawsuit alleges that TDE management chose to ignore the allegations when they were first informed about them.

According to reports, a lawsuit was allegedly submitted to the Los Angeles Superior Court by two female plaintiffs who shared multiple accounts, such as ongoing allegations of sexual harassment, misconduct and a breach of contract, specifically naming Chief Marketing Officer Brandon Tiffith and TDE’s president, Anthony “Moosa” Tiffith Jr., who is the son of TDE’s CEO, Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith. Top Dawg Entertainment is most renowned for its collaborations with multi-platinum recording artists such as Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, and R&B superstar SZA.

Several individuals online have suggested that the filing of the lawsuit coincided unusually closely with Doechii’s upcoming weekend at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards and Lamar and SZA’s highly anticipated halftime show at Super Bowl LIX. Up to the point of this filing, there has been no statement from a representative of Top Dawg Entertainment regarding the issue.

A fan commented that Top Dawg is essentially a criminal, which is hardly surprising given that he has placed his sons in positions of power at TDE, and they are acting in a ruthlessly aggressive manner. This label likely serves as a significant obstacle for women attempting to establish a career in the entertainment industry and climb the corporate ladder.

Top Dawg is undoubtedly a notorious individual with a questionable reputation. It’s no surprise that he has placed his sons in positions of power at TDE, and they are proceeding with a great deal of aggression. That label is probably a hell hole for any women who just wanna make a career for themselves and move up in the entertainment world

A previous user pointed out that Top Dawg Entertainment is dealing with a significant lawsuit in South Africa, which wasn’t on anyone’s radar, but isn’t entirely unexpected, as everyone on that side seems to be involved in unique or unusual cases. Lamar was accused of hypocrisy after releasing his 2024 hit song “Not Like Us”, which targeted Drake and other OVO members for sexual misconduct allegations, while the rapper was reportedly still signed to TDE at the time these claims surfaced.

SZA, TDE’s leading artist, and Lamar are scheduled to co-headline the “The Grand National Tour” having already performed at Super Bowl LIX on February 9. The multiple city tour will make stops at numerous stadiums throughout America.
