Tory Lanez – Rather You Than Me + So Drunk I Forgot You

Tory Lanez returns to focus on the Free Tory Playlist he introduced approximately a year ago. In recent months, the imprisoned rapper made a concerted effort to release his new album, PETERSON, from behind bars. Fans have been thoroughly enjoying it due to his engaging storytelling and high-quality studio production and mixing, all things considered. Lanez has resumed releasing these tapes on a weekly basis as of the beginning of April. The tapes he brought back were both a Prison and a Twitch recording, featured in “Dear Kai” and “Passport.” He also has a series of lost tapes which are unreleased recordings that he has been releasing periodically.

Up until now, those have been the most prevalent of the three subsets, but Tory Lanez is shifting his focus to the Twitch Tapes. He shared an update on his Instagram Story at the beginning of the week. He’s making quick work of it, providing us with two options this weekend. The album features a song with Afrobeats influences, titled “Rather You Than Me,” and another with a more classic R&B style, called “So Drunk I Forgot You.” A note of caution is that these tracks are significantly shorter in length.
