Tory Lanez – Glock 44 / Ruffles Bag

Tory Lanez Glock 44 Ruffles Bag

Fans of Tory Lanez are continuing to enjoy the regular releases on Fridays for his “Free Tory” series, so he and his team will keep them going. The imprisoned musician, who is facing a 10-year sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, had a wealth of material readily available at any moment.

Although they’re not emerging at the peak of his life, it’s definitely made his fans even more eager to see him become a free man again. Throughout our year-long run, we have received some significant edits. Various images have been circulating online for years, including “Real Addresses,” “Tim Duncan,” and others.

The remaining material, however, offers a unique way for die-hard fans to hear some of the work he was developing over the last several years. This week, we are revisiting 2022, the year during which Tory was transitioning away from his 80s synth pop period.

We get a glimpse of it sonically on “Glock 44,” although the lyrical content is vastly different. He delivers a strong rap performance with a lot of intensity and passion when rapping over it. “Ruffles Bag” is more of a traditional Lanez sound, as he rides a melodic trap/pop rap beat.
