Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has openly discussed her personal challenges with trust, boundaries, and friendships, providing fans with a closer look at her life outside of the public eye.

In her reflections on the experiences she has gained over the years, the award-winning artist acknowledged that her naturally open and trusting demeanor has, at times, been to her disadvantage.

In a recent discussion with content creator Korty, Tiwa mentioned that she finds it easy to trust people and tends to be transparent with those around her, including aspects of her private life.

She expressed that she has always felt comfortable sharing her personal space with others and rarely maintains emotional or physical distance from friends she cares about, considering this openness a part of her identity.

“I trust people easily. I am very trusting in my home; I am very open. I am an open book,”

she noted.

Tiwa added that her welcoming attitude goes beyond casual encounters, as she often has no problem accommodating friends while traveling.

“I could be in my hotel, and if you are my friend and you want to stay over, you are welcome. That is how open I am,”

she said.

However, the singer acknowledged that this openness has its drawbacks. She noted that learning to establish boundaries has been a challenging yet necessary journey, one that has led to the end of some relationships.

“I am too trusting, maybe. I am learning about boundaries. Once you start setting boundaries, you lose people,”

she remarked.

Tiwa emphasized that creating these boundaries has become even more important since becoming a mother, as she now has her son’s safety to consider.

“I am learning how important it is to set boundaries for the safety of my son as well,”

she explained.

Her candid thoughts have resonated with many fans, shedding light on the often overlooked emotional challenges associated with personal growth, fame, and motherhood.
