The Game – No Brakes ft. Drake

The Game and Drake have collaborated on a new track titled “No Brakes.” The song was first previewed by DJ Akademiks during a livestream on Thursday (August 20), allowing fans an early listening opportunity. It is featured on The Game’s recently released album, The Documentary 3, which includes several high-profile guest artists.

“No Brakes” aligns with the West Coast-inspired production style that The Game is recognized for. The track showcases the two artists exchanging verses while maintaining an energetic vibe. The Game includes several notable lines in the song, one of which refers to him and Drake as the “three amigos.” There has been considerable discussion on social media regarding his lyrics, particularly those interpreted as showing support for Drake in his conflict with Kendrick Lamar. The line, “If I have to pick a side, I’m choosing homicide,” has drawn attention, especially given the shared Compton background of Game and Kendrick. This has led to debate over whether it was a pointed remark at Kendrick or simply a declaration of allegiance to Drake. Both interpretations may hold validity.
