Teyana Taylor expressed her gratitude following the 2026 Critics Choice Awards. On Sunday, January 4, the film One Battle After Another, in which she stars alongside Chase Infiniti and Leonardo DiCaprio, won Best Picture. Taylor reflected on this significant moment in an Instagram post shared on Monday, January 5.

In her post, she wrote, “It costs nothing to clap for your people, especially when it’s rooted in genuine love! Wow, what a night. We did it!! Congrats to [Paul Thomas Anderson], the whole [One Battle After Another] family, our fellow winners, and all the incredible nominees.”

“Being in a room filled with so much love, admiration, and creative brilliance is something I’ll never take for granted,” she added. “Thank you, [Critics Choice], for recognizing us and celebrating this moment with us.”

In the individual categories, Taylor was nominated for Best Supporting Actress, though Amy Madigan won for her role in Weapons. Paul Thomas Anderson received wins for both Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay for One Battle After Another.

Later in her post, Taylor acknowledged the designers, glam team, and brands that contributed to her look for the evening. She notably wore a Saint Laurent suit complemented by jewelry from Tiffany & Co.

In addition to the Critics Choice Awards, Taylor celebrated receiving the Creative Impact & Breakthrough Performance Award at the Palm Springs International Film Awards on Saturday, January 3. She emphasized the importance of these moments in another Instagram post, saying, “We don’t take any of these moments for granted, not even for a second. My heart is so full, and I keep pinching myself. Congratulations to the entire OBAA team. Father God, in the name of Jesus, I thank You and I praise You for Your unconditional love.”
