During the 2026 Golden Globes, Snoop Dogg was censored while presenting an award, but his remarks were entertaining. As “Drop It Like It’s Hot” played in the background, he took the stage to present the inaugural Best Podcast award at the Beverly Hilton.

Upon reaching the microphone, Snoop said, “Stop the music! Need y’all to loosen up a little bit. This is the Double G’s — the Double G’s is the Golden Globes, and you’re with the D-O-double-G. So, make sure you enjoy yourself, don’t be no stiff biff! Move around a little bit.”

The broadcast audience missed Snoop’s candidness about his state of being when he said, “You all are winners, but the real winner…,” prompting laughter from the crowd. He then added, “I’m high as a motherf**ker right now,” an uncensored clip of which quickly circulated online. “Y’all had me here too damn long.”

The Best Podcast award went to Amy Poehler for her “Good Hang With Amy Poehler” podcast. In her acceptance speech, she humorously remarked about receiving her award from a rapper, saying, “Wow, this is exactly how I pictured it — Snoop giving me the award.”

Stephen Graham, who won the award for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television, shared his excitement about meeting Snoop Dogg in the press room. He recounted, “I met Snoop Dogg. He shook my hand and looked me right in the eyes … and he just said, ‘You motherf**kin’ gangsta.’ My life is complete, thank you.”

Further coverage of the 83rd annual Golden Globes included acceptance speeches from Teyana Taylor and Ryan Coogler.
