SAINt JHN – Poppin

SAINt JHN Poppin

Rapper SAINt JHN surprised fans with the recent release of the track “Poppin.” Their reactions can be summed up as one way to describe them. Other suitable descriptions could also be upset and pleasantly surprised, as the single diverges from the multi-genre artist’s typical area of exploration. The track is purely a trap rap song, and the trap genre is evident from the moment you start playing it. The appearance of the Tay Keith production tag at the start even left us somewhat taken aback. Up until now, 2025 has demonstrated a level of unpredictability in the hip-hop scene.

NLE Choppa is experimenting with the pop rock genre, while Bruno Mars collaborates with Sexyy Red. Among the three options, the most anticipated one would likely be SAINt JHN releasing a trap tribute. The latest developments are nothing short of astonishing. His preceding singles, “Glitching” and “Body On Me”, did not foreshadow this dramatic change of direction. It appears that SAINt JHN’s upcoming project will explore multiple sonic paths. In connection with that, he also announced the release of “Poppin” alongside FESTIVAL SEASON, his first body of work in five years, which is set to debut on digital streaming platforms on February 21 and will be a solo effort with no featured artists. It’s clear that this album is going to be his most contentious release yet.
