Russ – Movin

Russ, following a consistent release of singles over the past two years, is set to launch a new album titled W!LD, expected to be released in the upcoming spring or summer. This will mark his sixth LP and his first since the 2023 album SANTIAGO. The self-made producer, songwriter, rapper, and singer shared on his Instagram the inspiration behind the album’s title and cover art, which he describes as a blend of a horse and a wolf. However, he admits uncertainty about its exact representation, which encapsulates the essence of this project.

Delving deeper, Russ aims to step beyond his established norms and confidently explore the unknown aspects of the W!LD. Additionally, the Georgia-born artist is committed to personal growth and self-exploration. While he has achieved significant external success through his music, accolades, and dedicated fanbase, he recognizes the need for internal development, which he hopes to express clearly in the album. The lead single, “Movin,” serves as an excellent introduction, as Russ refrains from elaborating on his personal challenges. Instead, the two-minute track conveys his readiness to embark on new adventures, emphasizing that he will not allow anything or anyone to hinder his progress.
