Rihanna appeared in court on Wednesday, January 29, to back her partner and the father of her two children, ASAP Rocky, who is currently on trial for two felony assault charges involving a semiautomatic firearm.
Meghann Cuniff, a legal journalist, stated that the singer of “Love On The Brain” sat in a front-row seat beside the mother and sister of the Harlem rapper. She tweeted that Rocky’s mother is on the sister’s opposite side, with a security guard positioned at both ends.
Cuniff noted that the media’s presence exceeded normal levels, resulting in a sheriff’s deputy advising anyone exiting the courtroom that re-entry would be denied. She observed, “The atmosphere in the courtroom is extremely charged today.”
I just sat down in the courtroom for A$AP Rocky’s gun assault trial, and Rihanna is sitting in the gallery with Rocky’s mother and sister.

Rihanna has not been shown on the live stream, and I don’t think she will be.
She is sitting in the front bench in the gallery behind the defense table, next to Rocky’s sister.

On January 28, Tuesday, Terell Ephron, also known as ASAP Relli, testified in court for the first time in the trial. ASAP Rocky reportedly pulled a gun on him in a 2021 incident and fired several shots. I instructed him to utilize it. The complainant explained to the jury,”I couldn’t believe it mentally,” according to AP News. I was utterly shocked to see a gun pointed directly at me. That was the moment when everything fell apart for me.
Earlier in the case, ASAP Relli stated that he and the “LSD” artist were close friends who spent time together daily until the artist’s rise to fame. Their relationship evolved gradually from that point on. Having a relationship with ASAP Rocky can be extremely challenging. “As a habitual deceiver,” ASAP Relli stated to the court. He was nicknamed the Six Month Man. I would catch up with him every six months.
One of the two witnesses for ASAP Rocky, ASAP Twelvyy, chose not to meet with prosecutors before testifying. The tour manager for the Grammy nominee, Louis Levin, will also be speaking.
The creator of TESTING could face up to 24 years in prison if convicted, with prosecutors advocating for a sentence ranging from 10 to 12 years. He has rejected all proposed plea agreements, including the most recent one which offered a sentence of six months in county jail and seven years of probation.
