Rema Expresses Strong Views On Fatherhood And Personal Principles

Nigerian music star Rema has shared his personal views, stating his strong opposition to having children outside of marriage.

The artist behind the song Calm Down expressed that he has a deliberate approach to his relationships and does not want to become a parent unintentionally.

Rema stressed the need to establish a strong family base prior to making a major decision of this nature.

We need to expand our family and strive to become a large and powerful unit if possible. I don’t want to wait until it becomes a mistake before making the decision to become a father. He’s very particular and doesn’t like to be bothered around.

The Afropop artist also discussed his relationships with fellow musicians Ayra Starr and Tyla, a South African singer, stating that he has a close friendship with both of them.
