Kendrick Lamar has made it clear on record that he has a lot of criticism for Drake, yet in his latest interviews, he appears to be unenthusiastic about further discussing their feud. Many people were eagerly anticipating his Apple Music interview, hoping he would discuss his historic feud with fellow Hip Hop artist Drake, but he chose a more cautious approach instead.

Joe Budden expressed his dissatisfaction with his sit-down interview with Nadeska and Ebro Darden, suggesting he may never wish to watch a Kendrick Lamar interview in the future. It’s difficult to dispute the polarizing media commentator’s position, as it appears unlikely that anyone will be given the opportunity to uncover the actual circumstances that led Lamar to take his rap battle to such an extreme extent. The omission of the recent sexual misconduct lawsuit against TDE from the conversation during the interview further suggests that it was a carefully planned and undemanding interview.

Tracks such as “Like That” and “euphoria” appeared to be innocuous, however, he exhibited significantly more aggression in songs like “meet the grahams,” “6:16 in LA,” and his Mustard-produced Grammy-nominated single, “Not Like Us.” Lamar appeared to shed his reserve after Drake referenced his long-time partner and the mother of his children, Whitney, on tracks like “Push Ups” and “Family Matters.”

It appears that securing a detailed interview with Lamar or others involved in the lyrical conflict among the “Big 3” may be impossible.

On his recent podcast, Budden and his team noted that his latest interview felt obligatory, particularly in light of the Super Bowl LIX halftime performance in New Orleans, rather than a standard interview.

Confirmation has been made that Lamar’s secret halftime set list will feature “Not Like Us”, with much anticipation surrounding his upcoming performance. Lamar is also said to have another unexpected event planned outside of his collaboration with SZA. The contents of the frequent collaborators’ 13-minute performance remain to be determined. Several people are interpreting this as a preview for their upcoming co-headlining stadium tour.

Tickets for the “Grand National Tour” can be found on Live Nation’s website in a city near you.
