Polo G – Clap

Polo G is reinforcing his return with the release of “Clap,” a new single that comes as fans anticipate the rapper’s next full-length project. In recent years, Polo has shown diversity in his music while also maintaining a level of consistency that fans have found commendable. In this track, the Chicago rapper reflects on themes of loss, loyalty, and the challenges he has encountered throughout his journey, discussing deceased friends, resilience in the face of adversity, and the importance of remaining focused despite difficulties. He expresses his belief in a greater purpose, though he initially struggled to recognize it. The song does not primarily serve as a club anthem, despite its title; instead, it focuses on themes of survival, loyalty, coping with loss, and distinguishing genuine support from superficial loyalty.
