Peruzzi – Inferno ft. Zlatan & Shoday

Peruzzi collaborates with Zlatan and Shoday on “Inferno,” a track that combines Afrobeats melody with street-hop energy. The song was released on October 29 after a week of teaser clips shared on social media. Peruzzi provides the melodic foundation, Shoday contributes a smooth vocal counterpoint, and Zlatan infuses his signature animated delivery.

The track’s appeal lies in how the three artists’ styles complement each other. Peruzzi’s songwriting outlines the structure, Shoday adds a soft touch, and Zlatan elevates the energy without overshadowing the rhythm. Background vocals from the Loud Urban Choir enhance the sound without overpowering the leads. The result reflects a collaboration among three artists who effectively fulfilled their roles without competing against one another.

The release itself attracted some controversy. Zlatan’s verse includes a line that listeners connected to VeryDarkMan, the activist who has been vocal about Mohbad’s death. While Zlatan has not confirmed that the line was directed at him, VDM responded by criticizing Zlatan’s album and wedding in a video. Davido showed his support for Zlatan’s verse by commenting with fire emojis. This exchange drew additional attention to the song even before its release.
