Offset Shot Outside Florida Casino

Offset has been hospitalized following a shooting outside a casino in Hollywood, Florida.

The incident occurred on Monday evening (April 6) in the valet area of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, as reported by the Seminole Police Department. The former Migos member sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is currently in stable condition.

A spokesperson for Offset confirmed the shooting and stated that he is receiving medical care and is being closely monitored.

Two individuals have been taken into custody in connection with the shooting, although their identities have not been disclosed. An investigation is currently in progress.

After news of the shooting emerged, Offset’s former groupmate Quavo appeared to express his support by posting a message on his Instagram Stories.

Unverified rumors suggested that Lil Tjay, who has had a public dispute with Offset over an alleged gambling debt, was involved in the shooting. However, Tjay’s lawyer, Dawn M. Florio, refuted these claims, stating that Tjay has neither been shot nor charged with any shooting.

In January 2025, Tjay made comments that upset Offset, claiming that Offset was financially struggling due to a gambling addiction. Tjay alleged that he had lent Offset $5,000 at the casino and was owed more than $10,000 by him. He also allegedly shared screenshots implying threats if he did not receive his money back.

After more provocations from Tjay on social media, Offset challenged him to a fight, indicating that he would travel to him for the confrontation.
