Nicki Minaj Expresses Her Affection For Trump And Stands By Her Views

Nicki Minaj clearly expressed her views about President Donald Trump during an appearance on Fox News, addressing critics of her public relationship with him.

The rapper was featured on The Ingraham Angle with host Laura Ingraham and Small Business Administration head Kelly Loeffler to discuss the administration’s Million Dollar Pitch Competition.

In the interview, Ingraham asked Minaj how she would respond to those who criticize her collaboration with Trump.

“Absolutely nothing. I am honored to have the opportunity to work with this administration and to work with President Trump,” Minaj stated. “He has inspired many people, not just me, and he’s fun. He’s not just smart, he’s not just the President, but he’s also someone that I can relate to.”

Minaj characterized her connection with Trump as transcending political boundaries, stating that his personality makes people feel heard.

“Every time I see him or every time I see him speaking to other people, he’s just himself,” she remarked. “He’s very grounded. It’s easy to connect with him. It’s easy to feel like he heard you. He understands you. I just love him. I’m not going to ever make excuses for that because I don’t know why I should.”

These remarks were part of Minaj’s growing support for Trump, which includes participation in government events, conservative appearances, and direct praise.

It was previously noted that Minaj joined Grant Cardone and Airbnb co-founder Joe Gebbia as judges for the Million Dollar Pitch Competition, which provided $1 million to small business owners and offered her another notable role linked to the Trump administration.

Minaj also mentioned that criticism of her relationship with Trump has bolstered her resolve to support him publicly.

During an earlier appearance at the Trump Accounts Summit, she addressed the backlash, explaining why criticism did not alter her stance.

“The hate or what people have to say, it does not affect me at all,” Minaj stated. “It actually motivates me to support him more.”

In her Fox interview, she also discussed the role of politics in her concerts, advocating for a distinction between political messages and her performances.

TMZ reported that Minaj envisioned her concerts as spaces for enjoyment and memory-making rather than venues for political messaging.

Her comments mark a further development in her increasingly visible relationship with Trump’s initiatives throughout 2026. Minaj is set to speak on October 10 at the X Takeover event at Tesla’s Giga Texas facility, according to Naijahomeland.
