Mthandeni SK – Amakhala Eyiqhwaga

Mthandeni SK’s latest album, Easy Targets, is expected to maintain its significance and appeal long after 2026. Almost every track on the album features melodies reminiscent of traditional Maskandi music, with “Amakhala Eyiqhwaga” currently ranking high on the charts.

Mthandeni SK is a prominent figure in the music scene. Throughout his career as a Maskandi artist, he has exhibited a remarkable ability to integrate various Zulu cultural elements and musical styles while pairing them with contemporary rhythms, resulting in a unique and compelling sound.

Many attempts to confine Maskandi to a specific region of the country have been challenged by artists like Mthandeni SK, who produce music that resonates broadly and suits diverse cultural contexts.
