Nigerian singer and composer Lojay has officially confirmed the new release date for his highly anticipated debut album XOXO.

Originally set to launch in August, the project will now be made available on Thursday, October 10, 2025.

The announcement was accompanied by Lojay revealing the full 14-track list of the album, which includes collaborations with a notable group of both African and international artists. Artists such as Colombian singer Feid, UK-based artist Odeal, South African sensation Tyla, and Nigerian hitmaker Victony are scheduled to participate in the project.

The album features various tracks including Mwah! with Odeal, Body with Feid, Memories with Tyla, and Sawa with Victony, as well as solo songs like Sale, Shiver, Jericho, and Alright. The fusion of features and solo tracks is anticipated to demonstrate Lojay’s adaptability and his capacity to combine sounds across different continents.

The delay of XOXO was initially announced in August after Lojay took to social media to discuss the decision made on the album. In a sincere message to his admirers, he stated he required “a little more time” to refine the project, which he has been engaged with for the past two years. “For my first album, it’s crucial to me that as soon as you start listening, it has a sense of timelessness,” he wrote. At this point, I want to make certain it’s precisely correct.

Lojay has established himself as a prominent voice in Afrobeats and R&B, thanks to his hit single Monalisa and his diverse, emotionally charged sound. The Grammy-nominated artist is poised to take a significant step in his career with XOXO, offering fans what is expected to be his most ambitious and personal body of work yet.

The countdown is now set for October 10, and anticipation is rising for what is expected to be one of the most notable African music releases of the year.
