Lil Yachty admitted to being a poor partner in his relationship with Mariah the Scientist. Following his recent revelations on past issues, the “Spread Thin” singer appeared on “Club Shay Shay” on Wednesday, January 29, where he confirmed her previous statements, revealing she had been truthful.

During their conversation, host Shannon Sharpe questioned Lil Yachty about comments Mariah had made in relation to Yung Miami’s podcast “Caresha Please.” The artist behind the To Be Eaten Alive project explained that she was a “broke college student” at St. John’s University while trying to purchase the ideal gift for her then-partner, Lil Yachty.

The woman ultimately composed two songs for him, but the “Poland” rapper responded by saying he was not paying attention to her music. He essentially validated everything Mariah had stated was accurate, saying, “I was a terrible person to her, and she was incredibly wonderful — so wonderfully great — so I understand her perspective.” Despite her flaws, she was undoubtedly a wonderful individual. This is the first time she has ever publicly spoken about us.

I genuinely believe that she was quite considerate. She chose not to take advantage of me. I’m the one who brought it upon myself. She didn’t tell any lies, Lil Yachty also said. I’d like to give a shout-out to her. She is loved deeply, and I have a great deal of respect for her. The Concrete Boys founder later admitted that he may have apologized to her, a gesture which had taken place some time ago.

Our relationship has spanned a long period of time. We’ve been acquainted since high school, so the history between us is quite lengthy and somewhat hazy. “You only live once,” he responded.

Mariah discussed the inspiration behind her decision to pen love songs for Yung Miami, a Quality Control artist. I had assumed he enjoyed music. I have a fondness for music. I’ll compose a song for him. That is exactly what I did. I composed two unique songs, loaded them onto an iPod, and presented it to him, including my signature on the packaging. She thought it was quite adorable,” she said.
