Nigerian gospel artist Lawrence Oyor has put out a new single called “Favour”, which is a statement of intent.

Lawrence Oyor creates a song that profoundly touches the heart, evoking a sense of God’s compassion and benevolence in the minds of those who believe.

The song “Favour” is a powerful combination of a declaration, a prayer, and a heartfelt testimony, encapsulated in a beautiful melody that continues to resonate even after the last note has ended.

Regardless of the situation, God’s favour is consistently available, transforming seemingly insurmountable challenges into achievable opportunities and hardships into victories.

The instrumentation combines contemporary gospel and traditional African music elements in a seamless manner. Production credits were provided by Wole Adesanya.

Lawrence Oyor based his song on a number of specific scriptures.

The Lord will bestow blessings on the righteous, and with favour will encircle him as with a protective shield. According to Psalm 5 verse 12.

A flame of passion burns within us as the Lord declares, “Is not my word like fire, and like a hammer that shatters solid rock?” – Jeremiah 23:29.

The Lord’s angelic presence encircles those who reverence Him, and He rescues them – Psalm 34:7.
