Lady Amar Reveals She Never Earned A Single Cent From The Massive Hit ‘Hamba Juba’

Lady Amar states she has not received any payment from her hit song Hamba Juba, which was released two years ago.

The revelation comes after producer JL SA also spoke out, stating he was never paid for his contribution to the track.

Controversial blogger Musa Khawula shared a video on X, in which DJ Lady Amar broke her silence, on 23 September 2025.

In the clip, the DJ implored fans to cease directing insults towards her, emphasizing that she is going through the same adversity.

“Hey guys, I didn’t get paid for the hit song, I don’t even know a single cent.” It has been two years since the song was released, and similar to JL SA, she received no payment, she said.

Amar stated that she had remained silent until now as she typically avoids discussing disputes in public, but felt compelled to respond after being drawn into the online conversation.

She also pointed out that she is a victim and begged him to stop.
