Jhené Aiko – So Good ft. Kendrick Lamar

Jhené Aiko and Kendrick Lamar have reunited on the track “So Good,” featured on her new album, Westside Whimsy. This song evokes a sense of nostalgia among listeners. It represents their first significant collaboration in over ten years, completing a cycle that began with Jhené’s appearance on Kendrick’s 2010 mixtape, Overly Dedicated. Kendrick subsequently contributed a verse to “Stay Ready (What a Life)” from her 2013 EP, Sail Out. In “So Good,” Jhené delivers a smooth, laid-back performance that complements Kendrick’s contribution, enhancing the track without detracting from its dreamy quality. This collaboration feels both familiar and relevant, reflecting the current musical evolution of both artists.
