IDK – LiFE 4 A LiFE ft. Pusha T

IDK collaborates with Pusha T on “LiFE 4 A LiFE,” a partnership focused on themes of survival, consequences, and perspective. The song reflects a viewpoint that IDK first encountered at the age of 17 while incarcerated, amidst individuals facing serious legal issues and life-changing situations. Instead of promoting that mindset, he presents the song as an observation, aiming to shed light on the cycles of retaliation and inherited values that occur, as well as the potential for growth beyond those patterns. This track serves as a foundation for his forthcoming mixtape E.T.D.S. – Even the Devil Smiles, scheduled for release on January 23, establishing the emotional and conceptual framework of the project. The collaboration with Pusha T developed organically, with IDK sending the track right after its completion and receiving Pusha’s handwritten verse when the timing aligned.
