Icewear Vezzo is not pulling any punches on his latest album, “MINNESOTA.” This is his second release of 2025, but it’s laying the groundwork for a slightly larger undertaking. A native of Detroit, Michigan, is set to release an EP on the upcoming Friday, March 7. The album will be called UNDEFEATED and will feature a total of nine songs. Big Sean, Skilla Baby, and GT will also be joining him from Motown, in addition to other friends he’s bringing along. It’s thought that the mini tape will serve as a transitional project before his next full-length album is released. In relation to that, Vezzo’s most recent album was Live From The 6 and its Part Two. A total of 25 songs emerged from this period, with the initial release featuring 13 tracks and the subsequent one 12.
According to reports on “MINNESOTA,” it appears that Icewear Vezzo’s music is likely to exude a confident and assertive attitude. On this two-minute sampler, he sounds completely unmoved, as if he’s deliberately pretending not to know what’s going on. He’s indulging in his vices by lavishly spending on high-end whips and jewellery. A fitting accompaniment to his stoic tone is the ominous and dark instrumental crafted by Cash Out Beatz, who is credited with its production. The sound we’re familiar with, characteristic of Detroit street rap, is coming from this newer crop of artists. A heavy keyboard and a rumbling bass line resound throughout, making Icewear Vezzo feel and sound completely at ease.
