Nigerian gospel artist Lawrence Oyor has reacted to a viral video featuring popular crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, singing and dancing to his song “Favour.”

Bobrisky posted a clip showcasing himself enjoying the gospel track, which ignited a flurry of reactions online. In a subsequent video, Oyor addressed Bobrisky’s rendition during a chat with his church congregation, voicing his astonishment and disbelief.

Reflecting on his initial response to the video, the gospel singer confessed that he nearly distanced himself from the song. He noted that the incident was a surprise, admitting that for the first time, he experienced self-doubt.

“I saw one of our guys, the most unexpected person on the internet, singing ‘Favour.’ I nearly denied the song. Some of you might not have seen it, but someone sent it to me. I watched Bob, a very risky Bob, singing ‘Favour,’ and I had to replay it three times in shock! You too? I’ve never questioned myself like that before. How?”

he said. Oyor’s reaction has since sparked discussions on social media, with many sharing their opinions on the unforeseen crossover of his song into Bobrisky’s realm.
