G-Eazy – JFK ft. Ty Dolla $ign

G-Eazy and Ty Dolla $ign have announced their new business relationship with the release of the song “JFK.” This collaboration comes shortly after G-Eazy revealed his departure from the major-label system, where he spent over a decade, and his new partnership with Ty’s EZMNY Records and the Bay Area independent label EMPIRE. The two artists, both from California, provided fans with an early preview when G-Eazy made a surprise appearance at Ty’s recent show at Madison Square Garden. “JFK” serves as the initial glimpse of G-Eazy’s new direction. Ty’s melodic style has consistently complemented rappers, while G-Eazy looks to redefine his career after his time with RCA. The timing of “JFK” lends it significance as a proper introduction to G-Eazy’s independent phase.
