FLO’s “Access All Areas Tour” has been put on hold for the time being. The trio declared on Tuesday, 4 March, that they would be rescheduling their U.K. and European tour dates following Renée Downer’s knee ligament injury sustained during rehearsal.
“It’s truly devastating news for us, as we’re forced to reschedule our upcoming U.K. and European tour,” FLO stated in a statement. The group has had to revise their itinerary for their tour on more than one occasion. Originally, the event was scheduled to begin in Copenhagen on Sunday, March 2, with a performance in Stockholm to follow the next day. Those previously scheduled dates were cancelled in late January.
The “Cardboard Box” hitmakers were scheduled to perform at Hamburg’s Mojo Club on March 5, followed by appearances in cities such as Cologne, Paris, Manchester, Birmingham, and London. The city in question would have served as the leg’s concluding destination.
“As rehearsals neared completion, Renée suffered a knee injury to her ligaments, and despite collaborative efforts with our team, we regrettably cannot provide the show we envision at this time or the tour you have come to expect.”
Viewers and enthusiasts need not be concerned about the fans. Fans Have Nothing To Worry About
There is currently no cause for concern among FLO fans in the United States. The trio reassured everyone that Renée would be recovered in time for the U.S. dates. According to a previous report by Rap-Up, the group has upcoming performances scheduled in Houston, Tampa, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Toronto, Chicago, Detroit and San Diego from April through May.
They have not yet revealed any opening acts, but a reunion with Kehlani would be welcome at their two California performances. “FLO concluded by saying, ‘We love the U.K. and Europe, and are absolutely eager to see you all very soon’.”
What makes FLO’s ‘Access All Areas’ Run Stand Out
FLO took a significant leap forward after spending most of last year as the supporting act for Kehlani’s “Crash World Tour”, culminating in the release of Access All Areas. The project was initially introduced through tracks such as “Bending My Rules,” “AAA,” “I’m Just A Girl,” and the GloRilla-assisted “In My Bag.” In November 2024, the girl group released an enhanced version of the album, which comprised five extra tracks, such as remixes by Bree Runway, Kehlani, DIXSON, Chlöe and Halle Bailey.
It’s no surprise they are one of the year’s most highly anticipated headlining acts with such momentum. A short delay is somewhat underwhelming, but it’s far from disastrous if it results in fans enjoying an even superior performance once Downer has fully recovered.
