EP: Nsika Biyela – Ayifihleki

Nsika Biyela is one of the most versatile artists in the Maskandi scene, as demonstrated by his latest EP, “Ayifihleki.”

Typically, Maskandi projects involve contributions from multiple individuals, with different people handling background vocals, production, composition, and lyric writing. However, Biyela has challenged this norm.

Throughout his professional music career, he has produced the majority of his projects independently. In his releases, he often takes on multiple roles, including composer, producer, vocalist, lyricist, and sound engineer, a combination not commonly seen in the Maskandi music industry, which contributes to his prominence in the field.

In his final project of the year, Biyela has released “Ayifihleki,” a 5-track EP. A particularly notable track from this EP is “Ufuna Ngenzeni.”
